Automatic connection checks and water-level detection

In addition to checking tube connections and identifying the water chamber and circuit types, the HAMILTON-H900 automatically detects high and low water levels to generate an alarm when it is running low on water. Ensuring the patient is always ventilated with humidification protects the functionality of mucociliary clearance.

Reduced cost of ownership

Compared with the lifetime costs of a humidifier, the initial investment is relatively small. Cost-driving operational factors include expensive circuits, cables, and temperature probes and time and effort for cleaning and reprocessing. With the HAMILTON-H900, time-intensive reprocessing and expensive equipment replacements are a thing of the past.

Remote access to humidifier controls and status

The ventilator connectivity option allows you to operate the humidifier using any compatible Hamilton Medical ventilator. All the controls, monitoring parameters, and alarms are available, and can be set as required from the ventilator. Full integration of humidifier monitoring into patient data management systems is also provided.

When used with a compatible ventilator, the humidifier can automatically select the humidification mode (invasive, noninvasive, or high flow) based on the selected ventilation mode.
